Hi, I’m Ellie.

I’m a postdoctoral associate in the Afkhami Lab and Searcy Lab at the University of Miami.

I’m an evolutionary ecologist, and I’m interested in understanding biodiversity across the tree of life.

I completed my PhD at Monash University on trait evolution and speciation in honeyeaters.
